My focus is to provide a safe place or healing and discovery. Often our instincts tell us there is something off in our lives or that there is more to life, even if we function well in many areas. A few things that can block our lives can be childhood traumas, , sexual or physical abuse, gender issues, or any life disruptions, losses or challenges.

I work with adolescents, adults, families and groups. I believe rapport is vital to the therapeutic process and I strive to create an environment to provide this. I believe in helping people overcome life's struggles by focusing on each person's individual needs, and meeting people where they are at. I use a variety of specific therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, rational emotive therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, DBT, and art therapy techniques, with individuals on a multitude of issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems.

As we go through life it can be challenging and stressful. There are so many pressures that cause a person to feel like giving up hope, feeling disconnected, unmotivated, alone, fearful, and even scared. I am here to help people discover and develop skills to address those hardships and not feel so alone.

I work extensively with individuals having difficulties with depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief and loss, divorce, adjustment disorders and unresolved childhood trauma.
