My name is Rachel Nab and I can't wait to meet you. My passion is coming alongside children, adults and families in their concerns and working with them through counseling to gain personal insight, see growth and ultimately find resolution to those concerns. My in-person practice serves children preschool age through approximately twelve years old as well as adolescents and adults. Virtual/online appointments are available for adolescents and adults if needed. Children receive a child-centered, play based, prescriptive approach to therapy. Older clients find needed connection in my person centered, relational counseling approach.

I have a passion for healing trauma of all kinds and in helping people build awareness of how their bodies hold that trauma. I have a strong passion for helping people who struggle with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, or have a generally tumultuous relationship with food, movement, and their body. Issues that may result from trauma that I treat include eating disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and bipolar disorder, to name a few.

Who's in charge anyway?? When events or other people or you seem to be out of synch, maybe bouncing it off someone who is not in the situation with you is a good idea. I am a great listener and a proactive counselor.
