Dr. Hallstrom, PhD, LISAC, LCDC has a passion for helping those that silently suffer with substance abuse (i.e. nicotine, alcohol, excessive caffeine, marijuana, street drugs and prescription drugs, etc.) and their co-occurring disorders (i.e. trauma, depression, personality disorders, anxiety, ADHD, etc.). Dr. Hallstrom offers counseling for clients that are 12 years or older, individuals and couples.

Chelsea is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and received her masters from ASU in Marriage and Family Therapy. Chelsea is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and is a member of AAMFT organization. Chelsea is a wife of 16 years and a mother to three children and values the importance of family relationships. Chelsea strives to provide a space of acceptance and openness to the experience of each client that enters her office. Chelsea hopes to facilitate honest conversations between couples or families and create safety in relationships to share genuine and authentic emotions.

I appreciate the therapeutic journey for every client. It takes a lot of courage, vulnerability, and bravery to take the step to seek out support and seek change in one’s life. You might feel like you've lost your sense of self and wonder if you will ever feel like "you" again. The answer is YES! You're not alone. I understand, and I can help.

I work primarily with women who are struggling with identity crises and self-acceptance, depression and anxiety, self-trust and overwhelm. First, we have a history-taking and goal-setting session. We then use gentle self-care to establish a healthy mental wellness routine. Next, I guide you toward your goals. Our work together is complete, usually after 6-12 months, when you have met those goals and have a strong, accepting sense of who you are.
