Developing positive relationships with my clients is an important part of therapy. My approach involves asking thought provoking and mind-challenging questions to help my clients see things in ways they may not have previously thought about. I believe homework assignments are the key to helping clients enact positive change at home, outside of the therapy room. I embrace the values of authenticity, compassion, and humor in my work. I aim to connect with my clients where they are, and strive to help them works towards the place they want to be. Therapy only works if you're ready to make change, and do things differently.
My personal life experience (growing up with a not-so-perfect family) and my educational background work together to help me provide well-rounded and personalized services in the therapy room. I see couples, families, and individuals of all ages with a variety of presenting problems. My approach is adjusted based on your individual needs.
If you are ready to make changes in your life, please reach out. Finding a therapist that is a good match is the first step towards a positive therapy experience. If that therapist isn't me, I'm happy to point you in the direction of someone who might be a better fit.
