Matthew Feinberg, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. His research explores the interpersonal and psychological processes that unite people together to form cohesive and productive groups, organizations, and societies, as well as the underlying processes that divide people into opposing and polarized groups. His focus is particularly on the role morality, emotions, and status concerns play in these processes.

Brett Q. Ford, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, where she directs the Affective Science and Health Laboratory. Brett earned her BA in psychology from Boston College and her Ph.D. in social-personality psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research examines emotion regulation, focusing on understanding both the benefits and the costs of striving to feel good.
