My clinical experience has included working with individuals that have experienced trauma as well as anxiety and depression. I currently practice individual therapy with adult individuals (18 y/o and up) experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD (including dissociative symptoms), and Complex PTSD in both English and Spanish. We may utilize various modalities including mindfulness techniques, trauma specific treatment modalities (including EMDR and IFS), attachment work, and mind-soul-body integration. My passion lies in helping clients connect with their voice, strength, and sense of self.

We are an inclusive, somatic, neurodiverse, trauma informed, and sensitive therapy practice nestled in the Liberty Wells area of Salt Lake City, Utah working with couples, adolescents, and adults.

I believe that all healing starts with developing a sense of connection and empathy with yourself and others. I support clients 18 to 50 years old who desire building the life they always imagined through understanding their drive for change. Each client I connect with seeks to deepen their understanding of self through feedback, cultivates the ability to ask when they want someone to listen and knows that their trauma is not something to be forgotten but a piece within them to be nurtured for rewiring.

I work with children, teens, and adults. Much of my clinical works focuses more on helping the person, not on giving a label. Hope and trust are crucial in working with a therapist. Finding the right fit, the right type of experience, and the right connection is what builds this hope.

Getting help can be intimidating and I recognize that we all have different beliefs regarding therapy. None of us, however, are immune to the struggles or difficulties that life throws our way. Hello and Welcome! My name is Keondra; I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Salt Lake City, Utah. My private practice offers virtual therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families seeking guidance and healing. I specialize in supporting women who feel lonely, isolated, misunderstood, and stressed from issues related to divorce, life transitions, racial identity, racism/oppression, parenting struggles, relationship problems, trauma, and just being a woman in today's society.

My goal in my practice is to meet my individuals and couples where they are and guide them through self-discovery to empower them to overcome their obstacles from a holistic approach. I work with individuals and couples to aid them in fostering healing, self-compassion, and resiliency.

I am passionate about the power of systemic therapy in healing relationships and improving lives of couples, individuals of all ages, and families. I enjoy working with clients to help them identify and work toward their mental, emotional and relational goals using a variety of effective therapy models and interventions, including; Bowenian Family therapy, Symbolic Experiential therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and narrative work.

In my 40 years of clinical experience I have enjoyed helping clients turn their conflictual interactions into empowering opportunities for growth and success. I use a client-centered approach to help individuals resolve concerns and meet their goals. You will see that my commitment to helping and healing shines through in the compassion and creativity I use to assist clients in establishing healthy coping skills, challenging limiting beliefs, increasing a sense of self-worth, and feeling empowered to make changes.

I feel very fortunate to have spent several decades helping adults and adolescents struggling with their mental health. This has included addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, grief and loss, attachment, residential treatment, living with physical disabilites and children/families impacted by international/domestic adoption.

Travis believes in a healthy therapeutic relationship built on trust to help individuals and families achieve their goals. He has specialization in clinical psychology, children and adolescents, substance, Couples and Families, Depression and Anxiety, Behavioral issues, Addiction, trauma, outdoor recreation, and mental health counseling. As a mental health counselor, it has always been my privilege to work alongside clients on their personal journeys. Each individual has such a personal experience in which their life has been based. I believe in meeting clients where they are at, working toward personal goals, and ultimately developing a life in which they feel they can thrive.

The decision to seek out a therapist is an important first step towards positively addressing conflicts, managing distress, and learning to cope with negative or overwhelming feelings. Our team of therapists bring years of therapy experience. We work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are Deaf or come from Deaf families (includes hearing family/friends who sign). We provide a supportive, nurturing environment. We use a multimodal approach incorporating mind-body therapies with evidence-based treatments. We also offer forensic-clinical services and applied behavior analysis treatment.

My identity as a person and clinician developed during my time at Randolph-Macon Woman's College where I lived among confident and intelligent women from all over the world. I learned the value of asking questions and began to understand the value of ambiguity in one's search for clarity. I believe there is goodness within us and that we deserve a chance to be our genuine selves in the presence of others. I aim to provide a safe space for self-expression and discovery. Clients are offered a confidential, non-judgmental environment where they are heard and understood.

I am passionate about providing quality mental health treatment to individuals, couples, and families using a trauma informed approach. I have found in my clinical experience that many sources of wounding, disconnect, and suffering in relationships are connected to attachment injuries and trauma. Such experiences can leave us feeling anxious, confused, angry, stuck, and isolated. My belief is that therapy is a an important tool to regaining as well as reclaiming meaning and purpose in our lives.

Couples often long to feel close but get stuck in their problems. It can seem like there’s no way out of emotional conflicts, sexual difficulties, past mistakes in the relationship, or other issues. I believe in healing that gets to the root – healing that is deep, self-reflective, compassionate, honest, and real. I work with clients and their partners and family members to heal from difficult past experiences, trauma, and current conflicts toward brighter futures, stronger relationships, and a more secure sense of self.
