Healing Pathways Therapy Center provides a safe nurturing environment for adults, adolescents, and children to focus on relationship, well-being and mental health issues. We focus on topics such as life adjustment, depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, divorce, phobias, trauma, addictions, etc. We specialize in trauma and childhood attachment issues, working to resolve big or little traumas or negative experiences which tend to impede emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual growth. We focus on healing rather than just coping, by finding resolving underlaying issue rather than just putting a band-aid on symptoms.

Navigating broken trust, disconnect, and pain in a marriage can be debilitating. Creating space for meaningful connection is my priority. As a therapist, increasing healing through understanding is my goal. In therapy, I recognize that while some things require change, others simply require acceptance. As you show up with the vulnerable parts of yourself, I strive to create an environment of acceptance and connection. We all need help sometimes, and sometimes just that little bit of help makes all the difference. I'm here to take this step with you in your marriage, family, or individual lives.

Just when things start to get better, the sadness, anger, or anxiety inevitably builds up again. Emotions have become hard to manage; you’ve been doing and saying things you regret and don’t know why. This is not the way you pictured your life going. Life has become so overwhelming it seems easier to stay in bed, but that doesn’t make things better either. You want to work toward your goals and feel productive, but you lack the energy and motivation to do so. You truly want life to be better but don’t know how or if it’s even possible.

I am accepting new clients! I recognize the importance of connection, safety and trust within the therapeutic relationship. Brene Brown wrote, "Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light". Shame diminishes that light within us and tells us we are not worthy. We feel broken. It is in this brokenness that we can find strength, just as the Japanese art of Kintsugi does. I take a holistic approach to addressing therapy that focuses on helping you to understand and embrace all parts of you and live and authentic life. My ultimate goal is for you to learn to trust yourself and your body and to feel like you are worthy of being loved and treated with respect. Treatment with me tends to be relatively short-term as we purposefully work to understand what makes you feel the need to repress your emotions, how this may connect to your depression or relationship problems, and specifically creating experiences that help you are worthy to live, to love, and be yourself.

The challenges we face as individuals, as a community, and as a society can have a profound impact on the way we view the world, ourselves and others. Exposure to multiple adverse life experiences over time (experienced directly or in anticipation of adverse experiences) can progressively increase symptoms of anxiety, depression, clinical, and sub-clinical PTSD and even impact the state and health of our bodies. Adverse life experiences are often stored in the body and can be coded to our DNA. Somatic forms of therapy such as EMDR and Brainspotting help to adjust this lens by integrating and fully reprocessing adverse experiences.

By utilizing the past for understanding and focusing on solutions for the present, there is much that can be achieved to improve one's life. As a former addict with more than a decade of sobriety, I understand the pitfalls and patterns that users can become stuck in. I knows what it takes to get and maintain sobriety and am passionate about helping those in recovery along with their families. Whatever your addiction, I believe in an honest and up-front approach to therapy. You are stronger and more resilient than you believe and you are capable of overcoming the issues in your life.

Since childhood, I have strived to be a good child. At home, school, and church, I sought the recognition and praise of others. Lacking the courage to be free from the judgment and opinions of others, I always evaluated myself through their eyes. This led me to feel perpetually inadequate and insufficient. With others at the center of my life instead of myself, I naturally felt a sense of depression and emptiness and did not feel excited or eager to start each new day. From a young age I felt very little attachment to life due to feeling like something was so wrong with me and that I deserved to feel this way

Hello, my name is Teresa Hoffman and I work at Utah Lakes Neuroscience Mental Health Center where we use an integrative approach to mental health. If you struggling with the ability to think clearly, feel sadness, fear or anger, struggling in your relationships or having a crisis of faith or identity then I am here for you. I became a therapist after my military deployment to Afghanistan and experienced invalidation for my PTSD. I developed a desire to help others who are struggling and want others to understand that their experiences are valid and that there is hope for recovery from what you may be struggling with.

Hello! My name is Kenzie, and I am happy you are here. If you are reading this, I applaud you, you are seeking more support in your life. Asking for help is hard to do, and I want to recognize you in doing so. I am a product of therapy myself, and I can tell you that it kept me going in my darkest times. What I learned, the support and self-confidence I gained, and the purpose I found were just a few things from therapy that have helped me throughout my life. Since I saw so many incredible benefits from therapy, I wanted to pay it forward and help others through the struggles they may be facing.

We are willing to work with DMBA or PEHP for your IN-NETWORK copay. I am dedicated to helping others overcome challenges in their lives and improve their overall health. As individuals are given the opportunity to discover who they are and what they believe as a separate, individual self, and are able to be true to that self while still maintaining a sense of togetherness with others, they can make powerful changes to their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. This balance of maintaining a sense of togetherness and autonomy leads to a more healthy, balanced individual who is better equipped to handle anything life throws at them.

I love helping adults, children, teens, and their parents successfully navigate life’s challenges. My primary focus is on creating a safe space for people to process their struggles and discover and build on their strengths. I believe that people have what they need to thrive inside of them and my purpose is to help them access that through talk and play. I am familiar with and trained in using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
