My personal mission statement is that I treat individuals and not a diagnosis. I believe that people have what they need to thrive inside of them, and my goal is to help them identify and access those strengths through talk and play. I love helping adults, children, teens, and their parents successfully navigate life’s challenges, and my primary focus is on creating a safe space where people can process their struggles and discover and build on their individual strengths. I am familiar with, and trained in, a variety of therapeutic modalities that I draw from to help each person in the way that best suits their needs.
I am a client-based therapist that uses a variety of approaches that help people of all ages to access and explore their internal challenges and strengths in ways they may not have before. I am familiar with and trained in using EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, sandtray therapy, play therapy, and creative expression to help people better understand their struggles.
I enjoy working with adults as they engage in overcoming difficult internal struggles and relationship challenges. I also love working with parents and their children to help them find behavioral and relationship solutions that work in their family dynamic.
