Dr. Ragan A. Lybbert has been a therapist since 2016. He is deeply passionate about taking couples who are feeling hurt, distant, alienated, disconnected, or are struggling with communication, and helping them heal, strengthen their relationship, & draw close to one another. Dr. Lybbert excels at helping each partner feel safe, secure, and connected. Ragan also loves working with individual clients who have a variety of mental health concerns. Using a wholistic approach primarily focused on blending attachment theory & IFS, Ragan works with clients to get them on a path where they can feel happy, healthy, and whole.
I have a broad foundation of training: a master's in counseling psych (Chaminade University) and a PhD in marriage and family therapy (BYU - the top MFT program in the nation at the time). I offer a breadth & depth of knowledge to help clients through their healing journey and am passionate about therapy. I have also completed a number of clinical trainings.
Beyond my education, I have a lot of life experience that allows me to understand and connect well with clients & the difficulties they are experiencing. I know what it is like to lose a loved one, experience trauma, be close to & a part of a divorce etc. Additionally, I know well what the difficult road to recovering from those kinds of experiences is like.
