Our mission is to help dating, engaged, and newly married couples explore, evaluate, strengthen, and prepare their relationship for the most important commitment they will make. The research is clear. Couples who participate in some form of structured premarital education and/or counseling are more likely to have a stable and satisfying marriage compared to those who do not. The Center of Marriage Preparation has the most comprehensive, personalize premarital preparation program in Utah to assist couples in everything they need to know before they say, “I do.” We also work with married couples as well.

I am passionate about helping people from all walks of life to help live their best lives and to be who they want to be as individuals and partners. I've worked with a variety of challenges including communication difficulties, anxiety/depression, self image, negative self talk, infidelity, sexual/intimacy concerns, past trauma, as well as premarital counseling.

I am a narcissist survivor. Therapy helped me untangle and reassign responsibility in my experiences. I understand the pain of emotional abuse, single motherhood, divorce, trauma and the heartache of feeling alone and unimportant. Life gets hard and unfair. ​Madisen is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who has a deep passion for using her training to help others access the resources necessary to create a meaningful and happy life through personal and relationship satisfaction. Madisen has over 10 years of experience in relationship and parenting education. She has particular interest in working with clients experiencing relational distress, navigating seemingly unreconcilable differences within self and between others, and seeking relationship enrichment. She has a special capacity to hold space for individuals in high conflict and distress and is ready to hold space for you.

Dr. Ragan A. Lybbert has been practicing therapy since 2016. Ragan is deeply passionate about taking couples who are feeling hurt, distant, alienated, disconnected, or are struggling with communication, and helping them heal, strengthen their relationship, draw close to one another. Dr. Lybbert excels at helping each partner feel safe, secure, and connected. Ragan also loves working with individual clients who have a variety of mental health concerns. Using a wholistic approach, Ragan works with clients to get them on a path where they can feel happy, healthy, and good about who they are.

I have been working with children, families, and couples for 12 years. I have a passion for working with children in particular, as I believe helping a child in early life changes the course of their development. I specialize in play therapy, sand therapy, Theraplay, and couple therapy.

I am a professional that most find extremely easy to talk to. I have honed the skill of therapeutic maneuverability which means my clients get what they need in therapy, whether it is someone to listen to them and help process thoughts or to give them tools and help develop skills to be the best possible version of themselves. I am very validating and edifying at times, but I don't sugarcoat what needs to be said. I see the capacity of people without judgement, what is important to me is where you are and where you want to be going. I have skills in working with individuals, couples, and families from all sorts of backgrounds.

Sometimes life spins out of control, leaving you hanging, wondering how to make the crazy stop. Just breathing is hard, and you'd give anything to feel normal again. Perhaps that moment is now? Taking the first step to get help can be scary, but it's worth it...because it IS possible to have freedom from trauma, isolation, sadness, anxiety, despair & other struggles. And the best part: you don’t have to do it alone. Our 1st session of therapy won't fix the problems or make them go away...in fact, our 4th session likely won't make the crazy stop either, but in time you WILL heal, regain control, & discover your authentic self.

In my mind, the ideal client a person who has identified that some aspect of their life has stopped working for them. That person wants the help to make their life back to a working order. My approach to therapy is from a strengths-based perspective and I encourage clients to become empowered while building a supportive network. My clinical expertise includes individuals, adolescents, couples, families, and groups. The primary treatment modalities I use are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). The trauma modalities I am trained in are CPT and AIT. I am adept in treating multiple issues such as anxiety/depression, OCD, depression, domestic violence, PTSD, addictions, and grief and loss.
