I am currently licensed as a Clinical Mental Health counselor working with individuals, parents, and families. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors in Integrated Studies, and earned my Masters in Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado where I received additional supervised Play Therapy training.
I work from a non-directive, client-centered philosophy, supplementing this with more direct approaches such as skill-building and mindfulness. I work with youth and adults, and have training in play therapy, EMDR, working with neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I have extensive experience working with queer/trans youth.
