I specialize in helping professionals, other adults, and teens struggling with issues that adversely impact their lives and careers. This includes challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship issues. I have worked with at-risk teens and young adults, helping them to cope with the thoughts and emotions resulting from abuse, neglect, addiction, and food and housing insecurity. In addition to counseling, I have practiced law for 24 years and been a mediator for 17 (and continue to do both).

Together we'll help them gain the words to express themselves in a healthy manner. Young adults may be struggling with the transition out of their parents home while adults may be struggling to find work-life balance.

If you are looking to heal an emotional response to a distressing experience, you have found HOPE here! Few go through life without encountering some type of trauma or upsetting experience that feels beyond your control. Some examples of these experiences include accidents, having a rough childhood, and relational trauma -physical, verbal, emotional or sexual abuse. These experiences can shape your sense of yourself, your sense of safety as well as depression, anxiety, panic, worthlessness, shame and mistrust. You may even try to make those feelings go away by numbing with substances or self destructive actions.
I can help with families and couples. I believe the reason people come to counseling is to find help with problems. I would like to walk along beside you to help you find solutions. Counseling can take you into a world of possibilities instead of difficulties. It is a process of finding miracles in the midst of a problem focused world.

If hopelessness, loneliness, fear, anger, and despair are a part of your regular experience, there is help. Trauma and narcissistic abuse survivors often feel isolated and it is my heart to offer support to those individuals who are walking through healing and towards wholeness. I am a specialist in life recovery.

Life is a journey. Our paths are all different. You are the expert on your path. I am here to help you navigate your way to where you want to be. Sometimes in life we all need to discuss the struggles and difficulties we face. Having a counselor is having a facilitator in that process. My role is to be a guide through our conversations. You get to write the next chapter in the book of your life. I work your agenda. We only work on the topics you bring into the counseling room. Remember, you are not the problem. The problem is the problem. We are here to conquer those problems.
Anytime we face transitions and complications in life and in relationships, it can cause us stress, anxiety, and sometimes depression.
