I desire to walk with clients to empower growth, healing and restoration personally and relationally. I use an alternative approach to traditional counseling by partnering clients with horses during sessions. I provide equine assisted counseling for children, adolescents, teens and adults. I have experience assisting clients with a variety of issues, including anxiety, anger management, impulse control, depression, trauma, PTSD and many other concerns as well. My name is Darcy Ciesynski and I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been helping others for over eight years. Beyond Inspiration Counseling was formed out of my passion for helping others become the person they want to be and coping with life’s challenges along the way. Whether you are struggling with self-esteem, experiencing conflict with those around you, transitioning to a new phase of life, or are a new mother overwhelmed with the differences between expectations and reality- I am here to help guide you through your journey.

For the better part of a decade of my professional career I had the privilege of working with children and teenagers from traumatic backgrounds such as abuse and neglect. That experience paved the way for my approach to counseling which seeks to help clients understand the connections between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Much of my counseling experience has been focused on the treatment of Anxiety based disorders including phobias, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, panic, and generalized anxiety. I also have spent noted time helping clients walking through clinical depression and disorders such as AD/HD.

I can help with families and couples. I believe the reason people come to counseling is to find help with problems. I would like to walk along beside you to help you find solutions. Counseling can take you into a world of possibilities instead of difficulties. It is a process of finding miracles in the midst of a problem focused world.

Life's problems and circumstances can often lead people to a place where they need support through therapy. For adults and young adults seeking support for mental health issues, marriage and family, career change, career advancement or coaching I focus on helping you to increase your emotional awareness and assist you in making the best use of your cognitive and emotional intelligence. I am able to work with you to increase your positive thinking, reduce unhealthy behaviors and improve self-esteem, social connections, and college or work performance.

It takes courage to take the first step and reach out for help. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you are able to share your story. My goal is for you to feel honored, valued and heard. Maybe you are dealing with relationship concerns like a change in your family situation or concerns with a child. Maybe you or your child is feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed or trying to overcome low self-esteem. Possibly, there are struggles with family, life transitions, friends or school.
