I serve those struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and insecurity, addictions, infidelity and their voices shut off. Childhood trauma, painful disappointments, abuse and disappointment create a lack value, safety and purpose. I utilize EMDR, somatic work and intuitive therapies to help clients move through unnamed pain and trauma to bring a core of safety, acceptance, belonging and love to self. When you learn the T-truth through processing, you can shift and begin to love self, release pain and blame, restore your voice. When you have a voice - you can release your fears and trust again.

As a collaborative therapist, I work from the belief that individuals are the experts of their own lives. My role is to walk alongside them, offering tools, insights, and support that help foster genuine and lasting transformation. I prioritize creating a warm, supportive environment where meaningful change can take root. It’s important to me to honor the experiences and stories that each individual, couple, and family brings into the therapy space. Therapy becomes most powerful when people feel safe to show up as they are. Over time, that safety can grow into self-compassion and progress toward deeply personal goals.

The clients I work with may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to start—but is willing to take that first step toward healing. They might be navigating trauma, emotional pain, relationship struggles, or identity questions. Whether they're a teen figuring out where they fit in the world, an individual working through anxiety, depression, or self-doubt, or a couple trying to rebuild trust and connection, they come to therapy ready to be honest, even if it feels messy. They don’t have to have all the answers—just a willingness to show up, be curious, and try.

I’m passionate about walking alongside teens and adults who carry deep emotional pain, question their sense of identity, or struggle to feel connected in their relationships. Many of the people I work with have experienced complicated family dynamics—such as adoption and family of origin issues—that shape how they see themselves and relate to others. Together, we explore the impact of these experiences with curiosity and compassion, working to release the shame and self-blame that often surfaces.

Sometimes the world doesn't always feel safe or predictable and often times, it doesn’t provide us with the tools or time to catch our breath. I am passionate about helping big-feeling little humans and the adults who love them—along with teens and grown-ups quietly trying to keep it together when life feels anything but. I’m not here to provide you with all the answers but to be a co-pilot, helping you navigate the challenges the world often throws at us. Sometimes we use play. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we draw, pause, cry, or laugh. Ultimately, my work is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration, honoring each client.

I believe that everyone has the innate capacity to heal, grow, and discover meaning in their lives. My role as a therapist is not to lead, but to walk alongside you as a fellow traveler—honored to share in part of your journey. My therapeutic approach is grounded in existential theory, and I draw from Jungian depth psychology, symbolism, dream work, and meaning-making. I often utilize mindfulness activities to ground my clients within themselves in the here and now as well as to help explore their depths and understand their inner experience. Our society is often so fast paced and we often don't notice the inner wisdom we carry.

You’ve tried everything to make this toxic relationship work - tips from all of the podcasts, self-help books, and Psychology Today articles you could find. Nothing is working. You put on a happy face for the sake of everyone else. You don’t want to make them uncomfortable, so you stuff your emotions, sweep them under the rug, and bottle up your pain. It hurts so much to hold it in that you’re worried that you're going to snap - burst out in tears at work or get angry and yell something that you’ll regret later.

For the last 30 years I've been privileged to work with courageous clients as they face traumatic life events, stand up to addictions, grieve betrayals and losses, and find freedom to live a more enjoyable confident life. I have a lot of respect for anyone willing to enter into a counseling process with a commitment to growth and change. The counseling process takes a lot of work and determination but I have seen long lasting results as clients have faced uncomfortable feelings and beliefs and literally rewired their brains! I can't imagine a more rewarding job.

When our marriage is hurting, we often long for our partner to come close and hold us amidst the pain, or to hear that we are still their favorite person, even when we fail. Yet, maybe when you try to talk to your partner, or have tried counseling, you find yourself stuck in the same argument, saying, "You don't hear me, no matter how hard I try!" or, "All I hear is what I am doing is wrong. It's never enough for you." Using a warm, collaborative approach, I help partners make sense of what keeps them blocked, getting to the heart of disconnection efficiently so you can repair at the deepest level and find each other again.

How can I find a therapist in Keller?

Search for nearby therapists or counselors by inputting your city, town, or suburb; or zip code; or a provider’s name into the search bar. From there, you can filter providers by the issues they treat, cost, insurance, gender, and other factors to find providers who are well-suited to your needs. To navigate between locations within the same country, enter a new city or zip code into the search bar.

Learn more about how to find a therapist

Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?

The Psychology Today directory lists providers who offer legitimate mental health services to the public, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors.

Many have been licensed by the country or state where they practice; providers whose license or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Some clinicians or organizations provide services for which their state or country does not offer licenses, such as pastoral counseling. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.

What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counselor?

Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are all licensed mental health professionals. In the US, psychologists have earned a doctoral degree. The terms “therapist” and “counselor” are used somewhat interchangeably, but generally therapists offer longer-term, mental health care, while counselors offer shorter-term care that may focus on one domain, such as marriage, career, or academic challenges.

Clients should consider factors such as insurance coverage and their primary reason(s) for seeking therapy to determine the type of professional best suited to their needs. Someone struggling with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, for example, may wish to seek out a clinical psychologist or therapist, while someone navigating career obstacles or marital upheaval may benefit from seeing a counselor who can offer short-term, targeted support.

What type of therapy is right for me?

The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.

How much does therapy cost?

The cost of therapy depends on a number of variables, including location and the therapist’s experience and training. On average, a therapy session in the United States could cost between $100 and $200 or more. If you have insurance, the expense of mental health care is typically lower, but it varies based on your insurance plan details and whether you choose an in-network or out-of-network mental healthcare provider.

What are more affordable or low cost therapy solutions?

Many therapists offer sliding scale payments, usually on a limited number of slots, which consists in an agreement between the therapist and a client to pay a reduced rate. Therapists who provide such arrangements often consider the client's income or ability to pay, but the extent of the discount is ultimately at the therapist's discretion. Furthermore, while group therapy may have different goals and benefits compared to individual therapy, it can be a more affordable solution to address certain types of issues.

Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?

Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.

Is online therapy a good option?

Therapy conducted online can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your zip code.

Are therapy sessions confidential?

Confidentiality is a crucial part of the therapeutic relationship. Therapists in the United States are bound by the regulations set out by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), which aims to protect sensitive health information. With very few exceptions, a therapist will only discuss their client with others when the client has given their written permission. The instances in which a therapist would be required to disclose personal information are: if a client poses a danger to themselves or others, if the therapist suspects the abuse of a child or an elderly or otherwise dependent adult, or if they are legally forced to by court order. These exceptions to the confidentiality agreement are usually discussed with a client before their first session.
