Hi, I am Thomas. I specialize in Christian counseling while working with preteens, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and other mental health issues. I believe that true healing comes from the entire family, and therefore I work not just with your adolescent or preteen but with the entire family who may be having difficulty interacting and need help finding the healing they deserve. I received my master’s in professional counseling from Liberty University and have experience working with people of all ages who are having a difficult time and need some trusted help.
I have experience working with teens in a residential facility, treating trauma, grief, self-harm, eating disorders, and addiction using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. My goal in private practice is to prevent needing this level of care by helping clients explore thoughts & emotions, consider other perspectives, and challenge negative automatic thoughts.
