My name is Samantha Lynes and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon State. My years of experience in the mental health field is over 9 years. I provide evidence-based best practices and therapies to tailor treatment to meet the specific needs of each unique client in a safe and non-judgmental manner.

My name is Ellen Eberhardt and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). For 16 years I have been a therapist. I provide a non-judgement and safe place to heal and grow as each client is unique.

I practice individual, adult psychotherapy in Oregon and Utah (Utah is currently telehealth only), and I hold an Authorization to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (telehealth) in several other states as well. I work primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety or mood-related problems as well as those who are having difficulty with their relationships or difficulty coping with stressful life events. Since my VA internship, a portion of my practice has been working with veterans. I've been a provider for Returning Veterans Project and Give an Hour and have completed the MAPS training in MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD.

Thanks for looking at my profile. I recently changed my focus to working more with adoptive parents as well as teen and adult adopted persons. As an adoptive parent myself, I have focused for the last nine years on education and training that has made me a more adoption competent therapist and parent. Parents, if your child has special needs, learning disabilities, or experience with trauma I know it can be especially hard to set aside the time to get help for yourself, but I hope you call. Teens and young adult adopted persons, I want to walk alongside you as you take on the tough task of finding identity. You deserve to be heard!

Life is sometimes unpredictable and challenging, and you may find you need some guidance and support. I integrate my practical experience as a former NASA mechanical engineer with my psychological training as a therapist to see individuals, couples and families. I have two specialties, working with children and parents through adoption issues and working with children whose parents are experiencing separation and divorce. As a certified adoption specialist, I help adoptive parents and adopted children navigate through the developmental stages adoption brings. I also assist birth parents and adult adoptees through the complexities of search and reunion issues so they can complete their stories and find healing.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who have experienced "outsider status" and are on a journey to create a sense of belonging in their own way and style. Many of my patients are creatives who experience hindrances in connecting with their creative energies and seek ways to more fully nourish and honor these aspects of Self.

My great passion is to provide healing and comfort to the lost, looking for therapeutic relief from trauma and stress issues.
