Seeking therapy is a courageous act. In the context of a safe, therapeutic relationship, I work to assist you in developing a greater sense of self-awareness and a clear internal sense of what is right for you as a unique individual. I assist you in discovering constructive ways to cope with challenges and to manage difficult feelings. I may also be proactive in respectfully challenging perceptions and behaviors that may contribute to your suffering.
I have extensive experience working with adults and families. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client I serve. My work is informed by theories of depth psychotherapy, contextual family systems theory, C.B.T., and trauma informed care. I am a member of the Pacific Northwest Providers Association.
You can expect me to be warm, nonjudgmental and interactive while helping with issues including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, stage of life issues, and parenting difficulties.
