What makes therapy work? This is a question that countless people I know have wrestled with. I've noticed over the years that good therapy often starts with the genuineness and compassion of the therapist. As a result, I do my best to bring myself to our meetings, as well as the best of clinical insight and application, in order to connect with you and help you on the healing journey.

I most often work with an individual adult or teen who wants healing and growth: healing from trauma and pain, growth in relationships with others and within self. Most clients have a desire for more connection, truthfulness about themselves and their world, peace, and spiritual life. I also enjoy working with couples and families toward better communication and relational health.

Since 1980 I have gained extensive experience helping/assisting individuals with a variety of life issues mental illnesses and psychiatric diagnoses. My expertise includes relationships, addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. I focus on providing opportunities to improve productivity, and the quality of life for individuals and groups. I consult with psychiatrists and other experts in the field, to provide quality and effective services.

I empower men to experience hope, joy and peace as they tear down barriers to fulfilling relationships. Each of us has a unique story that has shaped us. My own story of brokenness and failure helps me to empathize with men who struggle to connect deeply with God, themselves and others. Navigating life is difficult! Many obstacles we can plan for, but so many appear without warning. You may encounter these problems and feel stuck, ill-prepared, or frustrated that you can't seem to move forward.
