Clinically, I have worked in the Community Mental Health system and in a private practice prior to opening my own private practice. I am trained in 10+ evidenced-based practices like Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy, used in treating PTSD, the Nurturing Parent Program (NPP), and Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT). My passion is to help others to live life as the best version of themselves, regardless of their age or presenting issues. I believe that each of us is just one person away from reaching that goal of a happy life, and if I can be that for you then it is a win for us both.

Sometimes you may become overwhelmed due to changes in routine or major events such as a new school, grades, finances, becoming a new parent, losing a loved one, divorce, or conflict in relationships. These life events may lead to anxiety, low self esteem, lack of motivation, and loss of direction. These struggles appear in different ways for each person and lasts for varying amounts of time. However, we can not always recover on our own due to depression, anxiety, past trauma, or other underlying influence. I am a therapist (LPC), here to help you on your journey to healing and becoming your best self.

Client needs are my FIRST priority. I am a specialist in evidence-based treatments (EBT), which radically improves my client's success rates, increases effectiveness of treatment, and gets results quickly. The majority of my client's report improvements, within the first session: life-functioning (work- home-school-relationships) and report immediate reduction in symptoms. Reducing anxiety/panic, decreasing depression, developing stronger coping strategies to stress and balancing mood dysregulation are my specialty, as symptoms can result from adjustment challenges to sudden life changes: parenthood/divorce/grief/college. We collaborate on thinking traps, tracking triggers, modifying behavior, successful coping skills and strengthening resiliency.

People come to me because they feel trapped, depressed, anxious or angry, or stuck in a rut. There is a huge gap between expectations and reality together with a breakdown in their mind, body, emotions, and spirit. They feel unregulated, unbalanced, unable to sleep, exhausted, in pain, in fight or flight mode most of the time and sometimes, have suicidal tendencies. They are crying or screaming in one way or the other. They want relief, things to go back to where they were, change, peace of mind and time to heal. Most importantly, they want love and compassion.
