I take into account the whole person (mind/body/spirit) and provide a non-judgmental approach to therapy. Together we will focus on finding and resolving the factors that are at the root of your mental health symptoms. These symptoms are often natural responses/adaptations to stressful life circumstances and traumatic experiences. From this perspective, these psychological parts become imbalanced over time and can get stuck in the past. Once they are properly integrated in the here-and-now, we can begin to live a life that is true to our purpose and in alignment with our highest selves.

I believe in the transformative power of a compassionate and trusting therapeutic relationship. I value patience and kindness as I walk with my clients through their struggles. There are many paths to healing, and I invite my clients to collaborate with me on identifying their barriers and overcoming them with curiosity and creativity. Each person has innate strengths, and I work with clients on harnessing these tools. Together, we shine a light on old narratives to make way for change and transformation.

I have been in Private Practice for many years and pride myself on keeping up to date on learning some of the most contemporary therapeutic approaches available today. My services go beyond traditional talking about problems and focus more on helping people maximize their strengths through the use of contemporary and innovative therapies such as Brainspotting, EMDR, Mindfulness informed therapy, and Clinical Hypnosis. These approaches are extremely effective in dealing with or overcoming anxiety, depression, stress, conflicts, trauma, performance issues, and stress-intensified physical problems.

I have been fortunate to work with and connect with adolescents and adults in my practice. My therapeutic approach involves working with client's to identify the issues they are facing, articulate their personal goals and uncover the specific needs of each individual. This approach allows me to build rapport with the client which is conducive to positive outcomes. The client is allowed the time and space to identify triggers and blocks to making meaningful change. A wide array of coping skills and tools will be utilized to manage life stressors and build personal resilience.
