She works to provide a safe space for clients to work through their difficulties and pain while not feeling alone. A warm, encouraging, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and healing to take place.

I understand the stress that may come along with seeking help, but no matter what life may bring I am here to listen and provide guidance in whatever way I can. I believe in the importance of building a strong relationship with each client in efforts to form trust, gain self-awareness, and ultimately create positive change. Dave Laurich is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois who has been practicing since 2018. He has a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Lewis University. Dave offers genuine authenticity and impeccable veracity to any number of complex issues. He is always willing to meet the client where they are. Dave provides diligent respect to all presenting issues. Outside of work, Dave enjoys creating art using oil pastels.

I believe that through self-acceptance change is possible. I work with individuals to discover resilience and perseverance by working through barriers and building strength in their self-awareness along the way. I work with adults 18 and older struggling to manage life transitions, anxiety, depression, navigate difficult relationships and/or family dynamics, improve self-worth, and with those who may be struggling to cope with experiences related to trauma. I incorporate mindfulness with REBT, CBT, Behavioral, ACT, and Solution-focused techniques.

I am a licensed social worker for your wellness and Zumba instructor for your health. Wellness and healing is a vibe that should be accessible, embraced and catered to a person’s unique life journey. It brings me joy to share my knowledge about mental health and different ways to take care of self, Love thy self and feel unapologetic during their journey. I don’t know what someone has been through, so the best way to support is ‘meeting that person where they are and how the person sees the challenge. It's important to know that YOU are placed in this world for a reason and I want to support you in embracing all that is included.

I work primarily with teens, men's issues, and couples, but if you are a person in need of help, I'm here for that. I want to help you overcome whatever challenges you are facing, and that will happen as we work together. I am currently working with a team of therapists through Unbroken Family Counseling, under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). When necessary, I work with schools, psychiatrists, and other community resources necessary to help my clients.

We are accepting new clients from ages 12 to 25, and we work exclusively with teens and young adults. It takes a great deal of bravery and admirable effort to seek therapy, and we commend you for taking the first step. Our objective is to establish a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients can voice their concerns and collaborate with us to surmount life's obstacles. With proficiency in treating co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, sports performance, and life transitions, we are committed to equipping our clients with the tools, knowledge, and perspectives required to achieve their desired lifestyle.

I discovered my passion to make a difference in others’ lives when I began my career in Behavioral Health over 20 years ago. I am privileged to meet people and together we find the solutions to whatever life problems come into our lives. I have been consistently told by clients that they feel safe and comfortable talking about whatever brings them in and that they feel better when they leave a session. It’s my goal to provide you the ability to leave a session with more than you came with as part of the process of change and healing.

For 20 years I specialized in divorce issues, both in families with high amounts of conflict and custody disagreements and provide support during this difficult transition. In addition, I have a strong background in Attachment, and I specialize in Attachment issues in children and adults and address the various challenges clients face in their current relationships. I use EMDR when appropriate and myriad Neuropsychological interventions.

I know how hard it is to want things in your life to change but not know how to change them. You know what your goals are and how you’d like to feel but there doesn’t seem to be a path to get there. Therapy is a great place to share your goals so together we can create a path. I believe many problems start in the past and we can see that best in the present. Frequently we will work together on what’s going on now, in the present, and then work on understanding and resolving the past if you want to explore it.
