I offer trauma-informed care and have experience working with couples, families, individuals, sexual assault victims, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, crisis management, PTSD and suicidal and homicidal ideation. I believe the central purpose of counseling is to assist the clients I work with in identifying their own unique abilities and tools to cope with the hurdles and challenges that life brings. Each individual has the capacity to make change happen to support well being; heal from trauma and identify new coping skills. My goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to work through traumatic or difficult life experiences while helping to cultivate new avenues to overcome the things that can keep one feeling "stuck". My approach in counseling is collaborative, holistic, strength based and client centered.

My name is Sarah, and I'm an Art Therapist and Transpersonal Counselor. I like to think of it as combining creative processing with soul-centered psychotherapy -- I love helping people transform through images. I counsel people who long for emotional/spiritual clarity and purpose, but feel overwhelmed by fear, shame, and grief. Through art therapy, EMDR, IFS, and PsychedeIic-Assisted Psychotherapy, I support clients in the process of exploring neglected areas of the self, so they can find meaning and direction in their lives.
