Dr. Share taught educators how to work with special needs & gifted kids. He was a School Psychologist and then Director of Psychological Services for a school district. He supervised college students completing their Marriage/Family, and or Psychologist License. He developed programs in parenting skills, marital improvement, reducing depression, assisting dysfunctional families and dealing with daily life stressors. Dr. Share taught classes as an Assistant Professor with the University of California, Los Angeles. The issue we all struggle with is how to remain present when our minds constantly are driven to anticipate and control an unmanageable future and keep a tight grip on an unbearable past (so that we are not overcome by it). When this dilemma becomes too much we lose trust, faith, and the use of intuition and begin to operate on fear, shame, and anger. This pattern is altered through someone making a “leap of faith” and trusting that someone can understand and see things through their eyes.
