Accepting New Clients!!!! My name is Jacqueline Anthony, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California and Nevada. I began my career in counseling in the 1980’s when I served as a Correctional Counselor for the California Department of Corrections. While working for the Department of Corrections, I received many life lessons that inform my practice today. Though too numerous to mention, the most salient points include the resiliency of the human spirit, the resolve of a vision, and the truth that our true and lasting wealth is “this moment, this hour, this day.”

Founded in 1993, Help Therapy has a team of over 50 licensed neuropsychologists and psychologists who offer a wide range of psychological evaluations. For patients who need extra support, therapy is also offered. Patients are matched to a provider of their choice based on their specific needs and preferences. Clinicians work with seniors, adults and youth (age 7+) all throughout California.

Our mission is to provide quality online mental health and substance abuse services while breaking down the barriers of traditional, office based therapy. Traditional mental health and substance abuse treatment tends to focus on what makes you sick, what you are lacking but at The Mindful Lemon, our clinicians let you sit in the driver’s seat, focusing on your strengths and assets to help you become the best version of you! This can be via traditional talk therapy, medication management, mindfulness techniques, an emphasis on health, wellness and fitness or any combination of the above.

I deeply empathize with those struggling to be authentic in a world that makes us feel like it is normal not to be. Helping my clients identify what makes them intrinsically valuable is a passion of mine. My experience with counseling those who have issues around self-love, addiction, and trauma allows me to guide my clients through a journey of self-discovery and self-compassion.

Asking for help can be one of the most difficult and even scariest thing for you to do. But therapy doesn't have to be so daunting nor does it have to take years for you to feel better. The therapy space should feel safe and empowering in order for you to be able to share, to learn, to consider a different perspective, to gain insight, to process your experiences, to start healing your emotional wounds, and to grow. You are not alone in feeling lost, helpless, angry, or confused. WE ALL feel this way at some point in, or about some areas of, our lives. A burden shared is a burden less heavy.

The Avery Centre has experienced and compassionate therapists ready to help children and adults suffering from trauma, grief, loss, and/or PTSD. After a crisis, loss, or trauma, each individual has their own way of grieving, and coping. Sadness, guilt, shock, anger, frustration, rage, and feelings of helplessness may occur. The healing process may begin with the passage of time and the support of loved ones; however, professional help may be needed for support during the initial shock of the situation and later on while experiencing different stages of the grief cycle. The Avery Centre was created to provide clients with support, guidance, understanding, and empathy during these most difficult times.

I have extensive experience with dual diagnosis, addiction, & complex trauma. I have worked in private practice & residential and primary psychological treatment centers. I work as a drama therapist combining my clinical & performance background. I specialize in family working entire family system. I have direct and empathetic approach. Since becoming a mother I also, work on those areas specifically. In addition, I love working with artists, creative, and those wishing to explore or develop those areas. I know we are all creative and meant to be creating. I have a very intuitive nature with depth psychotherapist training.

I work with children, teens, adults, and couples to uncover what things are not working in their lives, and help guide them to new ways of communicating, coping, functioning, thinking, and being. It is an amazing feeling to feel changed and set free from unhealthy and unhappy patterns.
