Lisa Dashnaw Stiles is a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from University of Colorado 2018 with a master's degree in Advanced Nursing/Psychiatric and Alliance International University in San Diego CA 2001 with a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She combines her education with her experience of being a psychiatric nurse since 1988 to provide wholistic treatment.

I have an extensive background in a wide range of treatment settings, eg. in-patient, out-patient, schools, inner city and chronic care facilities. I look for a person's strengths and talents as well as their difficulties. Treatment should be a working partnership for the best outcome. I then received my master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and then went on to get a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner post master's certification.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of Nursing experience beginning as a CNA, then as a bedside Registered Nurse for over 12 years, many of which were spent in the critical care unit where I worked during the Covid pandemic. My experience during that time cemented my need to care for patients in order to prevent them from finding themselves in that setting. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, hiking, and spending time with loved ones when not traveling and learning about other cultures.

Born and raised in Kansas City, I decided to pursue a medical career during high school. I went to trade school and worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist. After several years I decided to further my education in nursing, attaining my LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, and post-graduate certification. I graduated summa cum laude from all nursing coursework.
