I have an extensive background in a wide range of treatment settings, eg. in-patient, out-patient, schools, inner city and chronic care facilities. I look for a person's strengths and talents as well as their difficulties. Treatment should be a working partnership for the best outcome. My outlook is caring, compassionate and hopeful no matter what the issues. Each patient is unique with treatment specific to his or her needs. I have fellowship training in psychopharmacology and am board-certified in both Adult and Child Psychiatry. *Genomind DNA testing for medication guidance is now available if clinically appropriate.*
I will communicate as needed with a person's other treating professionals, eg., primary care practitioner, therapist and teachers, tutors or schools with children and adolescents. All contact is with patient or parental permission only.
