I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner graduate program at Walden University. I also attended Metropolitan State University, University of Colorado, University of Northern Colorado, and Arapahoe Community College for my undergraduate studies. My previous nursing experience includes almost 15 years in various areas, from geriatrics to pediatrics and medical nursing to psychiatric nursing.

I enjoy working with adults who have a variety of mental health concerns. I have worked as a psychiatric nurse and as a psychiatric advanced practice nurse in Colorado throughout my career. I have been prescribing medications for over 20 years so I understand and appreciate the importance of medications in treating many mental health conditions. I offer both therapy and medication services. I am moving away from taking insurance. I find that insurers increasingly demand full access to psychiatric records despite serious privacy concerns. I will work with you to weigh the risks and benefits of submitting records to your insurance.
