I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have verifiable experience in treating variety of psychiatric disorders such as; mood disorders including resistant depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, stress and sleep related disorders.

Christine Khan, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from California State University, Long Beach. Christine’s passion lies in working with children and their families in helping them achieve their goals and reach their maximum potential. She provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to each person’s individual needs, including attention to personal history, concerns about, or fears of medications, all of which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, as well as helpful explanations that facilitate treatment.

I specialize in psychiatric medication evaluation and management for children, adolescents and adults.I believe we must have a collaborative relationship working together to meet your treatment goals. This collaboration is achieved through honest communication about your symptoms of concern and medication effects. I do not believe medications are appropriate for everyone dealing with emotional, behavioral, and/or relational issues. I do believe that some form of therapy is critical for maintaining long-term benefits. In many situations therapy as well as medications provide the best outcomes. Working together, we will determine the best course of treatment for you.

My practice style is founded on the belief that mental wellness is a basic right. I enjoy working with my clients as their partner so that we can find the answers best suited to each individual’s needs. While so many mental health struggles have been destigmatized, huge stigmas still remain when it comes to managing addictions. I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with addiction and strive to provide non-judgmental care with unconditional positive regard.

Nichollette is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, specializing in medication management. Nichollette’s practice embodies a holistic approach towards psychiatric treatment that focuses on improving the overall mental well-being of an individual, rather than just treating the symptoms. With every patient, Nichollette strives to create a motivating and nurturing environment that is optimal for healing and growth. She utilizes an artful and collaborative process to create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

Offering adolescents and adults support as they're navigating life and crises is my area of expertise. People seek me out to help treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, mood and adjustment disorders among other things. I combine alternative treatment with general psychiatry. Medications and/or natural supplements are used as needed, but always with some degree of psychotherapy.
