In person appointments (west) and virtual. I know that what you want more than anything right now is to start truly enjoying and living your own life while still taking excellent care of others. For that to happen though, you need to feel understood & supported. The problem is you feel guilty asking for help and putting your needs first, leaving you feeling exhausted and lonely. So many people like yourself feel they have lost themselves and are struggling to live enjoyable lives. I understand you are used to putting others before yourself and that you are frustrated that no one else steps in to help.

Therapy feels weird. At its core, it involves divulging the things we usually reserve for the safety of our journals (or our very attentive pets) to a total stranger. As someone who has been on both sides, I can promise that I understand how hard it is to take that first leap and book an appointment with someone. There are always internal questions about whether or not this person will bet he right fit or if you'll be starting over with someone new in a few weeks and having to retell your story. As a therapist, I pride myself in being open and authentic with the folks I work with.

I care deeply about giving folks a space to be heard and seen. I believe that the beauty of therapy lies in the growth and transformation that becomes possible when people experience safe, caring presence —both within themselves and with others. I am passionate about working with folks struggling with anxiety, trauma, panic disorder, OCD, and depression. I also find deep meaning in accompanying people grappling with big, existential questions. My ideal client is interested in self-exploration and sees change as a complex and multifacted process that involves many angles and layers.

Feeling overwhelmed can reveal itself without notice, it can leave us in a dysfunctional state that transfers into our everyday life. We all have a past which can influence our present! Allow yourself the opportunity to address unhealthy patterns, behaviours and attitudes, discover your triggers, develop acceptance and integrate your new insights. We will collaborate together allowing you the autonomy to choose the starting point of your healing journey. This journey will enable you to create self-awareness and self-discovery, unveiling your true authentic self. We do not need to be defined by our past.

Hello - welcome! I work alongside individuals experiencing a variety of challenges, including mood disorders, relationship difficulties, & grief/loss. My areas of specialization include processing the impact of prolonged and/or single incident traumatic stress. Given the complexities of such stress, my approach to psychotherapy is integrative & wholistic. This means that I draw together a range of approaches to support healing on a physical, emotional, mental, and, when applicable, a spiritual level. I am trained in a variety of approaches, including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal theory, CBT & Motivational Interviewing.

Life rarely follows a straight path, and it doesn’t come with Google Maps. Since 2006 I have been working as a therapist to support people as they navigate the messy journey of life - creating a non-judgmental space to talk through problems, learn new skills, or unburden things you’ve carried your whole life. Whether you spend your days driving forklifts, drafting documents, or raising kids, sometimes everyone needs a little help. I work with folks aged 19+ from all walks of life, backgrounds, relationship styles, orientations and identities. I have experience working with veterans and first responders.

I am a student intern counsellor offering low-cost therapy at Seen Heard Found and I am currently supervised by Tricia Wilson. I am completing the last phase of my Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Throughout my own therapeutic journey, I've come to understand how nerve-wracking the counselling process can be. However, through my strengths-based approach, I aim to guide clients on a path towards self discovery as I gain insight about their inner resources. I truly believe that clients are the experts of their own lives.
