Life rarely follows a straight path, and it doesn’t come with Google Maps. Since 2006 I have been working as a therapist to support people as they navigate the messy journey of life - creating a non-judgmental space to talk through problems, learn new skills, or unburden things you’ve carried your whole life. Whether you spend your days driving forklifts, drafting documents, or raising kids, sometimes everyone needs a little help. I work with folks aged 19+ from all walks of life, backgrounds, relationship styles, orientations and identities. I have experience working with veterans and first responders.
I’m an eclectic therapist and draw from EMDR, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). My foundation is always person-centered and trauma-informed, and we'll choose approaches that fit you.
It's really important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. I’m friendly, relaxed, and easy to get along with. When I’m not wearing my therapist hat I'm probably hanging out with my kids, playing D&D or a board game, lifting weights, or mastering the perfect barbecue. Whatever I’m up to, I always try to embrace the joys and challenges equally.
