I am a psychologist in Waco, specializing in sex therapy, and I love what I do. I work with many mental health concerns but I have particular interest in working with folx presenting with sexual dysfunction, arousal and desire concerns, sexual identity formation, and intimacy distress. Sexuality is still something the feels hidden in today's world - let's unearth it. I am currently taking new clients who are seeking healing and restoration in their sexual functioning. In addition, I have a personal and professional investment in social issues and am intentional about promoting hope and justice in the work that I do.

I am an LPC-S in private practice in Waco, TX and am able to serve clients across Texas. I have an extensive background in treating trauma (25 years) & am trained in various treatment methods. I work with individuals, families & couples. I have a special interest in doing the work of integrating trauma, fostering a healthy & whole sense of self, exploring how attachment affects our well-being throughout our lifetime & working with those experiencing stress or secondary trauma/compassion fatigue due to caring for others.

Meaningful connection is essential for every human being to belong and to feel safe. When you start to lose this connection, you may start to feel the pull of your anxiety carrying you away in its wave of damaging and critical thoughts. You start to feel overcome with too many conflicting emotions that it becomes harder to make any decisions. You may even feel disconnected with your loved ones, where you can no longer communicate, and you start to believe that you are no longer compatible, while still hoping and longing to be close to one another. It is an exhausting push-pull cycle.

My practice is best suited for individuals who are seeking healthier relationships with food, their bodies, and/or exercise. If there is a question as to whether you or a loved on has an eating disorder, I can complete an assessment and then help to provide recommendations on what treatment would be a best fit for you or your loved one's needs. If you have been recommended by another professional to seek treatment and need assistance navigating those choices, I can also provide consultation for the best treatment center fit and assist with the admissions process.
