My practice is best suited for individuals who are seeking healthier relationships with food, their bodies, and/or exercise. If there is a question as to whether you or a loved on has an eating disorder, I can complete an assessment and then help to provide recommendations on what treatment would be a best fit for you or your loved one's needs. If you have been recommended by another professional to seek treatment and need assistance navigating those choices, I can also provide consultation for the best treatment center fit and assist with the admissions process.
I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and am also an approved supervisor. I have over 16 years of experience providing therapy to individuals who struggle with disordered eating, and have also served in leadership positions in multiple treatment centers within the U.S.
It can be difficult to seek help for an eating disorder. Fear of judgment or previous negative experiences with providers can make someone hesitant to reach out.
