I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and AASECT-certified Sex Therapist providing sex therapy to individuals and couples, helping them to overcome obstacles that interfere with sexual fulfillment to improve their relationships and strengthen their sexual expression. My practice addresses a wide range of issues ranging from erectile dysfunction to difficulty in achieving female orgasm, but much of my practice involves helping couples resolve issues to obtain a fulfilling sex life. Many therapists dislike or are uncomfortable with marital and couples therapy. I consider it to be one of my passions, strengths, and specialties.

Most of us, at one time or another, experience personal problems. Sometimes they affect one's overall performance, sometimes they don't. I am available for those times when situations in life cause personal problems and you need help to get you through them. You don't have to do it alone. I strive to provide a comfortable and trusting environment where you can relax and feel safe. I aim to make therapy a place where you like to go. I know that we are all very unique. I approach each client in a way that is specific to their needs. I am also accepting licensed interns needing supervision.

I have made a career of helping people overcome obstacles in their lives which prohibit them from realizing their full potential. Utilizing Heart-Centered therapies as well as more traditional techniques, I facilitate individuals in a deep exploration of all aspects of self in order to live fuller, more satisfying lives. I have extensive knowledge in dysfunctional family systems, trauma recovery, anxiety disorders, depression ADHD, addictions, bereavement and stress management.

The constant struggle of wanting to feel at ease, calm and present, yet not knowing how to do that is making you feel defeated. Anyone struggling with any compulsive, values-incongruent behavior can find freedom, intimacy, and healthy sex- (which can include kinky fun). My clients are stressed out busy adults and sometimes teens. I employ EMDR, talk therapy, mindfulness, outdoor therapy, somatic work and VR exposures to tailor treatment. My current personal passion is to encourage anyone that (despite their best efforts) is not living the life that they desire, to exclude ADHD from possible concerns with the objective QbCheck. Is isn't hyperbole to say that treating ADHD can save a life.

Everyone is capable of resolving their own issues, but there are times when doing it all by yourself leads to a feedback loop of missed opportunities and unfortunate mistakes. Therapy with me is designed to address the underlying issues that impact our lives. The world has become increasingly polarized and most people seem lost in the middle. In treatment, we will examine how to exist and thrive in this world.

Life sometimes takes us in directions that are unknown, unwanted, unexpected and out of our control. When it does, it can appear overwhelming and difficult to face these issues and emotions by ourselves. Sometimes we feel that is the only option in order to succeed. What we tend to forget is life is a journey that we should take as a community and not individually. We can overcome theses issues together. My role would be to ride alongside with you, supportively and with an open mind to help you achieve the life that best fits you.

I’m a licensed professional counselor who specializes in areas such as mood disorders like depression, bipolar, schizophrenia disorders and symptoms of anxiety, trauma, OCD, etc. I am fluent in Spanish.

To me, a large part of therapy is about grieving and acceptance so that we can find peace within ourselves and others; I am particularly good at helping people get in touch with their feelings. I tend to work with the heavier side of therapy, that include drug/ alcohol /cannabis addiction, domestic violence, narcissism, borderline, sex/porn addiction, sex offense, sexual shame, couples in crisis, infidelity, poly relationships, court, and anger management. I tend to work really well with those who enjoy dark humor, who are avoidant by nature, and those who are seeking redemption from guilt/shame.

Throughout my training/experience, I have worked with a variety of populations and mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting, self esteem, relationship issues, alzheimers and concerns related to aging. My therapeutic approach values using a strong therapeutic relationship and rapport, using collaborative approach that is influenced most by Interpersonal, attachment, person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe that it is essential to create a safe, warm, and non-judgmental environment to facilitate growth, while leading the client on their journey to change.

Sometimes struggle, worry, and stress aren’t met with joy, comfort and reward. For some, struggle is the reward and they are lost without it. Some struggle through life sacrificing their own needs and lay in bed drained at night. Some justify themselves by saying things like, “that’s life” or “it is what it is”. My specialty is assisting adult and teen survivors of trauma. I have an extensive history working in the public school setting with special needs children and at-risk youth. Additionally, I have experience in the criminal justice system with first responders, crime victims and recovering addicts. My services include post adoption therapeutic assistance for foster children, therapeutic guidance for crime victims, first responders, veterans and assistance to those seeking outpatient treatment for addictions. My ultimate goal is to help adults and children live more fulfilling and productive lives.

You often feel on edge and exhausted trying to fit in with the norm of what our society says a man should be! It can be confusing trying to make sense of all the different parts that make up who are, such as gender, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity and religious beliefs.
