Hello! I am a therapist, military spouse (recently retired) and Mom of 2. I have a passion for serving families who serve and sacrifice for our nation! For many years I lived the active duty military lifestyle. I know first-hand the pain of infertility as a military spouse and navigated fertility treatments in Military Training Facilities. I have lived through deployments and unaccompanied remote assignments as a young mom while managing home, kids, career and community service to fellow military spouses and families. I know the pain of being away from extended family, frequent moves and all the adventures of service life!

I strive to create a caring, compassionate, understanding, and supportive environment where you can feel safe and comfortable enough to discuss your important issues. I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas (in person & virtual sessions) & Illinois (virtual only sessions) providing short and long-term therapy to adults (ages 18 and up). I have worked with individuals from all ranges of life including varying socio-economic status and different stages of life in settings like college counseling centers, community mental health, and forensic detention facilities. Some areas of interest to me are depression or difficult moods, troubling thought processes, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, recovery from trauma, and chronic relationship problems/marriage difficulties.

My clients have learned new ways to cope with, process, and overcome a multitude of issues. I am affirming of poly and alternative lifestyles, LGBTQIA allied, and treat religious abuse especially Christian and LDS. I am particularly familiar working with childhood trauma, anxiety, and women’s issues. I tailor types of expressive and talk therapies to the individual Client.

Lifeworks Counseling Center, PLLC has been in business since 1992. We provide therapy for ages 4 and up. We have 9 therapists (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) who provide counseling for almost any emotional/mental/spiritual challenge people face in today's culture. Dallas Therapeutic Services is a group practice uniquely managed to fit the needs of most clients! When the group formed, care was taken to choose clinicians with a variety of backgrounds and specialities. We want to provide an environment, where we can match clients with their best fit therapist. Additionally, we are able to psychological testing for ADHD, Autism, IQ (processing speed, working memory, comprehension and perceptual reasoning as well IQ score) and personality (diagnosis) - all of which can help with differentiating diagnoses and planning treatment accordingly.
