One of my greatest rewards as a therapist is helping clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope and live fully in the present. I believe we all need someone to talk with, who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgement. I provide clients with a warm, non-judgmental environment; a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing them from living the life they want. I have a heart for helping others find deeper meaning and a sense of purpose.

I come along side my clients to help with healing from personal and emotional issues that interfere with their well-being. My hope is to encourage the growth and recovery process. I use Adlerian therapy to help resolve past issues and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy to teach coping skills and healthier ways of thinking and feeling. I believe there is a reason for all issues including depression, anxiety, low self-worth and trauma and I help with discovering that and creating a plan to resolve them. I enjoy helping a person become more capable of making choices and decisions that align with their personal goals.

I try to help you feel safe, comfortable and trusting so this process can begin and take hold to where you trust yourself with more certainty. I treat individuals with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship problems, grief and loss, and sexual addiction. I consider all of the individual, one's beliefs, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, past, present and future experiences. In assessing the type of problems, people present, I look at lifestyle, current coping mechanisms, how we think and perceive our problem, our personal histories and what strategies specifically people have used to address their concerns. The use of mindfulness, learning to be more present in the moment allows for reduced reactivity, new ways of coping, problem solving, and relating to others in ones environment. It can lead to healing and transformation.
