One of my greatest rewards as a therapist is helping clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope and live fully in the present. I believe we all need someone to talk with, who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgement. I provide clients with a warm, non-judgmental environment; a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing them from living the life they want. I have a heart for helping others find deeper meaning and a sense of purpose.
Some of the issues I work with are depression, anxiety, mood disorders, identity, parenting issues, family systems, relationships, communication, pregnancy, postpartum issues, grief/loss and trauma & abuse. I have training and experience working with critical incident debriefing and stress management.
I believe life is full of wonderful and sometimes difficult or painful experiences, and during painful seasons we can get stuck. Many times, trauma or past wounds can hold us back from moving forward or functioning in life. Sometimes taking the first step requires great courage.
