Alyssa Zepeda is a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked diligently to assist children, adults, and families in her community since 2012. She is passionate about empowering and supporting others through the use of evidence-based integrative, and creative approaches. It is extremely important for Alyssa to support clients in not only feeling safe and empowered but to also experience the therapeutic power of nurturing one’s body, mind, and soul. My number one priority is for my clients to feel comfortable. I take a laid-back approach that is fairly directive yet very empathic. Psychoeducation and self-esteem work are major parts of my practice as I utilize these tools to empower my clients. I also focus on coping skills and the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors (CBT-focused). I like to be transparent with clients and increase their comfortability by letting my own personality shine through.
