Anxiety, depression and self critical thoughts can take the joy from our lives and leave us feeling hopeless and alone. We want to move through the world with confidence while living a life of purpose but are often overwhelmed and feel stuck. Goals go unmet, and our world becomes smaller as we resist challenges in our social life, school and career, out of fear and discomfort. We want to have more friends, do well in school and have a satisfying job or family life. We want to be happy and fulfilled. Our relationship with food may be unhealthy and we may feel suicidal or compelled to self harm. Life feels hard.
Counseling can help you become more compassionate and kinder towards yourself and others. I use a personalized approach for each client to effectively address personal challenges and transitions with compassionate support and practical feedback. Complementary methodologies are integrated including trauma focused interventions. Together we will make goals.
