I am a Licensed Psychologist with a Masters in Social and Institutional Psychology and Doctorate in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. I enjoy helping families that are struggling with life challenges, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, divorce and remarriage, relational issues, domestic violence, sexual abuse, drug dependency and abuse, stress, mood disorders, immigration, multicultural families, professional guidance, school adjustment and bullying.

I am passionate to assist clients in their journey toward wholeness by utilizing evidence-based techniques including EMDR, IFS, Attachment and Family Systems. I have over 25 years of experience working with families, couples, parents, children, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Areas of specialty include adoption and foster care, attachment and bonding, parenting, family and developmental transition issues, depression, anxiety, traumatic stress, and issues of faith and spirituality.

My work is dedicated to helping people develop healthy and satisfying lives and relationships. Though it can be difficult to make the decision to begin psychotherapy, I have found that those who have sought my help have achieved valuable results. I offer confidential psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. I have an expertise of working with clients dealing with issues of depression, anxiety and trauma, along with learning to cope with relationship issues and managing through difficult life transitions. I am committed to helping you receive the services best suited for you.

Therapy can be initially a very stressful undertaking, that may or should initiate change. I like to look at the positives of change and how that makes a person feel better about themselves and their outlook on life, now and in the future. In my 20 plus years of experience as a therapist I have found that the relationship between the client and therapist is most important for this to occur and for real healing to begin. I feel that my calm and excepting demeanor is a good fit for people to begin this process. It should be noted that I do not do marriage or couples therapy as my colleagues are a better fit and I prefer individuals

I have diverse clinical experience with children and their families in community settings, as well as in elementary and pre-school settings. I also have great experience with helping children navigate developmental disabilities, behavioral and mood disorders, divorce, separation, and stepfamily dynamics. I have worked with many children who have been exposed to trauma including, abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. I believe that involving the family, parents, and other primary caregivers in the therapeutic process provides the best possible resolution for the toughest challenges.

Cynthia’s skillset leads by the means of empathy and connection working with children, individuals, teens, couples, and families as they navigate various challenges in life. Alex Post is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2019. She has a BS in Philosophy from California State University of Stanislaus and an MS in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University. While she is well-versed in a variety of counseling approaches and methods, Alex tends to approach counseling from a cognitive and behavioral as well as emotion-focused manner. Our thoughts, behaviors, and reactions can be used as powerful tools to enhance our quality of life.

Sheryl Schwartz is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2005. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology in 1993 at Colorado State University Pueblo and worked with at risk youth till she returned to school and obtained her Master of Counseling at Adams State University in 2005. Sheryl spent the next 10 years working in Residential Treatment with youth and their families where she helped developed a Native American program and sexual trafficked youth program.

Aaron Miller is Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with six years of therapy experience. He has worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings, including Individual private practice, RTC, partial and intensive outpatient care, rehabilitation facilities, intensive in-home family work. Aaron works with clients aging from 13-50, addressing concerns with depression, anxiety, substance use, grief/loss, life transition, Identity, career concerns, trauma, and relationship challenges through individual, group and family work.

You'll feel comfortable during sessions with Andrew in the non-judgmental, friendly space he provides. You'll be welcomed into a therapeutic relationship regardless of age, race, sexuality, or ethnicity. You'll feel heard and be positively and appropriately challenged to increase your own insight and ability to think, act, and speak independently. Understanding that therapy takes time and is not a quick fix, you'll journey toward improving your reality. Steve Scifres is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. He completed his Master of Arts degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling/Therapy at UNC in May of 2019. Steve strives to provide a collaborative environment where people are free to be themselves. He primarily works with people from an emotionally focused orientation. Life is fast paced, and Steve wants to provide an atmosphere where clients can "slow-down," and better understand what is happening for them in their lives. His desire is to help people develop new "pathways" in their lives, and to recover "lost territory.

At any age, life can be overwhelming, negative behaviors can persist, relationships trapped in hurtful patterns, or inner worlds caught in negative thinking which stretch our coping, and cause stress. I have worked with youth and families in a variety of settings for most of my life and in a clinical capacity for more than a decade. While I enjoy working with all ages on a variety of issues, I specialize in anxiety, behavior issues, trauma, adoptive and foster families, parenting support, parent-child relationships, identity, and life transitions (especially related to parenting, early school years, and college). We are a telehealth parent-focused center dedicated to helping parents navigate the challenges of having a child or young adult who is struggling with behavioral and emotional issues. We believe parents need support in knowing WHAT and HOW to cope with, understand, and respond to the challenges that arise when a loved one is struggling with mental health. When parents feel nourished and empowered, they are able to guide their families back to wellness. How do we do this? We support parents thought parent coaching, Individual and couples therapy.

My areas of interest and experience encompass treating anxiety, low self-esteem, family conflict, sexual assault, and PTSD. I enjoy collaborating with people who are interested in creating a healthy relationship with themselves and those around them. Individuals who work with me often aspire to cultivate a sense of self-assurance in their identity or to embark on a fresh path in life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with veterans, children and youth, addressing women's issues, as well as supporting those involved in the civil/criminal justice system.
