About
Many will enter therapy thinking, “What have I been doing wrong to get here?” I meet clients and think, “What have you been doing right to make it this far?” Yes, I think a bit backwards, but it’s what allows me to find innovative ways to help clients move forward using their strengths. Individuals, couples, and families who have previously felt stuck in complex issues with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief & loss, adoption, parenting, and relationships report finding relief through embracing their strengths and being reassured that their experience is valid. This helps tap into their innate ability to heal and renew balance.
I specialize in complex trauma, attachment, and dissociation (including DID). Clients benefit from a wide range of trauma modalities such as EMDR or Somatic Experiencing and evidenced based practices such as Emotionally Focused Therapy or the Gottman Method. I also provide consultation services to clinicians who are seeking guidance in these specialty areas.
I recognize that healing takes courage. Thus, I take great care in creating a safe space for clients to understand and share their own unique experiences at their own pace. All are greeted with compassion, transparency, warmth, and a healthy dose of humor, creativity, and fun! Want to learn more? Check out my website or call for a free consultation today!
