With over two decades in the field of human services I, along with my dedicated staff have created a space coupled with highly effective treatment approaches to help you to live again! We offer services to those who need to heal from: depression, anxiety, family conflict, life transitions, sex and gender issues, trauma, abuse, and grief and loss. When we rid our lives of these "toxins", we make room to begin a life journey that we never thought was possible!

On our journey it can be helpful to have someone to help us read the narratives which often define our lives. Some of those narratives keep us from experiencing what we want for ourselves now and in the future. Since graduating with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2010, I have been working as a therapist with people in various stages of life. A relationship between a therapist and client can provide someone with a deep reflection of how they live and are experienced. I believe therapy can give us the opportunity to rediscover our story in a new way. Real change is possible.

I am an experienced clinical psychologist and supervisor, well-versed in telehealth; I am also an Active Duty Veteran and currently serve in the PA Army National Guard. We have a staff providers who are well trained and available via telehealth or in-person. Patient populations of focus include Veterans, Military, and First Responders. Additional areas of expertise are other public safety activities including treatment of patients who are justice involved, those with substance use disorder, and providing evidence based care for trauma, depression, stress and adjustment issues, as well as relationship and marriage concerns.

I believe that everyone is resilient - and that constantly having to be strong can be exhausting. Working in a safe and comfortable environment, I can work to help you get to know yourself better and to live your life the way you want. We will work collaboratively to explore and understand the psychological roots of emotional suffering by focusing on self-reflection and the examination and resolution of inner conflicts that you may have. I can help you to explore and modify your thinking patterns in order to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and to improve coping with daily struggles.

I have been helping clients of all ages, races, and backgrounds live more fulfilling, rewarding, hopeful lives for as long as I can remember. It was natural for me to become a psychologist and make my mark on the world by doing exactly what I loved to do. Although my clients continually tell me how much they are helped by therapy, I can honestly say that I am the one who is truly changed by helping others. No matter what your difficulties are, I can assure you that you will be changed in some way by entering therapy. There is no difficulty too great or too small to work on in therapy. The only constant in life is change.

My approach to therapy begins with meeting the individual where they are in their lives and creating a safe, non-judgmental space to work on identifying strengths and challenges. As a former Division I & professional athlete, I have a special interest in working with competitive athletes. I incorporate strengths-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, CBT, & ACT therapeutic models within my practice.

I have always been attracted to a holistic approach to counseling that includes brain health, nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and overall wellness. Along with talk therapy, I also utilize Neurofeedback training to help stabilize brainwaves. Neurofeedback Therapy is a non-invasive/non-drug based form of treatment that facilitates desired functions and mental states. Self-regulation is key in improving daily stressors, quality of life, and a positive well being. I am rewarded by seeing my clients' efforts to grow and achieve their goals.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals from age 6 through adulthood. I work with clients struggling with a number of issues including mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and addictions. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing to help clients through their difficulties.

I have worked with crime victims, forensics, mental health and addiction. Although it’s always combined my passion has been to help you heal from trauma and PTSD because I have seen the results, you can live a happy and functional life with most the systems and without feeling depressed, anxious or traumatized. We specialize in treating first responders and anyone with any issue In life that you want to evolve from. We use a holistic approach to healing within.
