I would characterize my approach to working with clients as both holistic and strength-based. I feel that achieving mental and emotional well-being and healthy relationships requires paying attention to all areas of self: the mind, body and spirit. In addition, I try to help my clients achieve mental, emotional and relational health by building on the strengths already present in their lives. I firmly believe that people have the ability to make positive changes in their lives, and I see it as my job to help clients identify and traverse the steps necessary to achieving these changes.

I am a person in recovery from addiction and an eating disorder, so I understand that struggle well and enjoy working with addiction and ED. I have been particularly effective with clients who suffer from addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and women's empowerment. Only taking private pay clients currently.

My approach to therapy is assisting the client find their own personal strengths and values to improve the quality of their life. We do this together, discovering ways the client can reach her inner resources for growth. I believe the therapeutic process is mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual, and I integrate all of these areas in my approach.
