You just had a baby and to your unfortunate surprise, you are not well. Everything has changed from your relationship to your husband, your body, yourself and your work. It’s all now different. And while parts of it are good, like really really good, there’s something keeping you from being a better version of you and it’s creating toxicity. There is some part of you that is afraid you actually have lost your mind and there is also some part of you that is having a very hard time staying on your best behavior. Of course everything that you’re feeling is perfectly justified and that’s how it feels to you, but not one person gets it.

I provide a safe space to process difficult life situations and to create healthy, positive and lasting change. When adults struggle, we often want to fix our problems immediately or avoid them altogether. But for lasting change to occur, experiences must be processed at a deeper level. I thrive on the ability to provide you with tools to create lifelong change.

Integrative Healthcare Center—for mental health and behavioral health. We offer licensed therapists, prescription management, psychiatry, autism care, and more. Integrative medicine, as defined by the U.S. Government’s National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, explores many treatment avenues, working with patients to heal the whole person, not just one organ system. Integrative Healthcare Center fills a void in the healthcare landscape. Mental health services are hard to find. With providers scarce and in demand, even established patients find themselves waiting months for treatment.

Finding the right fit with a therapist can be challenging. I am a psychotherapist who excels at connecting with people and making them feel at ease. I'm known by my clients to be warm, engaged, humorous, direct and compassionate. I believe it is a privilege to sit with people who allow me to bear witness to their lives, stressors, and pain. I have great appreciation for the "and" that life often presents, and encourage clients to recognize and tolerate that we often experience conflicting emotions simultaneously. I approach therapy as an interactive process and enjoy working with people to develop a plan that works best for them.

I currently have no openings. Please check back in July. I don't take insurance. Payment is at time of session. Sessions are online. My specialty is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which research has shown to be effective for many types of mental health and relationship issues. CBT focuses on solving current problems in a time-sensitive and structured way, along with teaching clients how to modify thinking and behavior that is getting in the way of living the life they want. I work with clients to help them get through their current crisis, and if needed, to explore past issues that continue to make it difficult to move forward.

Individuals who are looking to better understand themselves, to identify and handle their emotions effectively, those who seek a meaning in life or who have lost their way. Therapy should be a safe place where you can express yourself freely to achieve a better organization of your thoughts, ideas and feelings. The ideal client can be one who knows what they want as well as one who does not know why they feel a certain unpleasant way when life is going well.
