I provide a safe space to process difficult life situations and to create healthy, positive and lasting change. When adults struggle, we often want to fix our problems immediately or avoid them altogether. But for lasting change to occur, experiences must be processed at a deeper level. I thrive on the ability to provide you with tools to create lifelong change.
My approach begins with acceptance. From this base, an empathic and trusting relationship emerges and clients can express their emotions free of judgement. I practice psychodynamic therapy combined with practical skills building therapies, encouraging clients to understand the roots of their problems while simultaneously working to change their behaviors.
I help adults 18 & older experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions & other complex mental health issues. My background in community mental health & patient-centered care equips me to work with a wide variety of individuals with many unique difficulties. I welcome clients new to therapy & those returning at a new stage in life.
