As a Family Therapist in private practice, I offer support, guidance, and healing to the individual, couple, tween/teen, and family, who are facing challenging emotions or situations. While providing a safe environment for those with a variety of issues, I specialize in treating trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, parent/family and couple issues, child/adolescent disorders, bereavement, life/stress management, and relationship conflict.

It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is a major part of the healing process. Therefore, I seek to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to grow and flourish. I feel my role is to be somewhat of a guide to walk with my clients on their healing journey. The therapeutic process will always be trauma informed. It is my belief that I do not have all the answers, but I can help the client find the answers in themselves.

Through great pain comes better awareness and understanding about ourselves and the world around us. My journey as a counselor began during my experience with war deployments, which inspired my search to find ways to help others who are hurting. After completing my Master's degrees in Couples and Family Counseling, I have worked extensively with the court system, with families in need, and with individuals of all ages. My other passion in life is speaking and learning more Spanish. I offer therapy sessions to adults, children, families, and couples. I am a certified hypnotherapist.
