Offering Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) to treat PTSD in Seattle and Bellevue, Washington. SGB is successful in approximately 85% of patients who see an almost immediate 50% reduction in PTSD symptoms on average (mean reduction in the PCL-5 (PTSD) score of 30 points). The stellate ganglion is a control center for the sympathetic nervous system and a conduit for PTSD triggers. SGB is a low risk injection which stops the sympathetic nervous system overdrive in PTSD patients, so triggers can be reduced or even eliminated. Patients are then better able to engage in the psychological work related to trauma events and PTSD.

Caleb Featherstone received his undergraduate degree in Psychology and his graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. Caleb has since received additional training in treating trauma with eye-movement and desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). He also has extensive experience working in the field of addiction with residential patients at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services. Caleb believes that we should be the author of own lives and he implements a collaborative strength-based approach, tailoring therapy to each person's individual needs. This centers around the principles of education, support, and empowerment.

I have over 20 years of experience providing therapy and support to those who struggle with depression, anxiety, interpersonal and family conflicts, job related stress, behavioral issues in children, parenting concerns and the impact of trauma, illness and life transitions. I am particularly interested in supporting families in their relationships with one another and I believe in encouraging choices that are nurturing to all family members.
