We effectively treat clients using both talk therapy and neurofeedback, a biofeedback technique that addresses issues at the source. Using the reward system of the brain we are able to dramatically improve symptoms that originate from low performance areas in the brain.

I believe in working with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan and will track progress during treatment to insure progress. I work with individuals, families, couples, and groups. My focus is on those dealing with trauma, relationship difficulties, traumatic brain injury, anxiety and depression. I believe wellness can be found with incorporating recreation, connection to nature, mindfulness, and meditation into the therapeutic process.

I love working with couples to help them rebuild connection and intimacy. I also enjoy providing premarital counseling to help couples start their marriage off on solid ground. I have an extensive background at Idaho Department of Health and Welfare where I worked for 18 years. I have experience treating people with mental illness including Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia. I've worked with child abuse and neglect, families with children with disabilities, people on felony probation, and people impacted by substance abuse and domestic violence.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist of nearly 20 years with who has been working with individuals, families, and couples within a wide range of ages (14+). I have developed experience in working with women, couples, divorce, trauma, anxiety and depression and am EMDR trained. I am also a certified telehealth provider. I work with clients who are the experts in their lives while I am the expert in therapy and together as a team we can work to meet their goals. I now look forward to applying my experience using telehealth so that the high demands underserviced areas can be met.

Hi. My name is Brian Raymond. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Idaho and have been practicing in the Treasure Valley in various therapeutic environments since 2007. I know how helpful it can be to get a feel for someone before making the decision to schedule an appointment with them. Deciding to get started with a new counselor can be nerve wracking for some so I want to do anything I can to ease that anxiety before our first session.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field and as a person in recovery, I am passionate about helping others. I understand the pain, confusion, and fear involved with beginning to make the changes necessary to live a fulfilling and authentic life. My approach to therapy is eclectic, I believe in tailoring treatment to the individual I am working with. The connection between trauma, substance abuse, and other destructive means of coping can keep us stuck and lonely. Navigating through life's challenges can become overwhelming and create significant distress. It is important to have adequate resources to navigate through life and to live according to your values (e.g.- mental, emotional, spiritual, and social supports). As a therapist, I assist my clients with developing the resources to improve their self-esteem, problem-solving skills, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships. Humans are innately social creatures and need connection with others. Depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma interfere with this natural state of being and drive a wedge between you and the world.

Being deaf, I have a strong desire to help other deaf and hard of hearing people but this doesn't limit me from working with hearing people too. My clients are struggling to fit in in a world that's constantly changing and sometimes seems out to get us all. Clients who come to me are looking for support, knowledge, and growth to counter the challenges of every day life.
