My therapeutic approach is adapted based on the client's needs and social systems. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families, being mindful of change occurring within the individual and family dynamic. I collaborate with schools, families, doctors, and other sources to assist in advocating for my client's needs. My level of expertise includes individual, group, and family therapy. I implement mindfulness, assertiveness training, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other methods to address substance dependence/abuse, anxiety, trauma, depression, and other emotional and behavior problem areas. I have specialized in bullying and self-esteem with adolescents.

Jackie Hansberger obtained her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University in 2016. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at Capella University in 2021. She is currently a Temporary Licensed Psychologist under the supervision of Dr. Davis.

My hope is to create a safe, supportive environment in which you can explore your emotions and examine barriers that are preventing you from living the life that you want to live. I work using a style of fostering trust and authenticity. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the core of beginning the process of change. I enjoy doing all types of therapy for all different issues to include depression, anxiety, addiction/substance use and abuse, health and wellness, grief, trauma, parental alienation, developmental challenges, autism spectrum disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, codependency, work stress and relationship conflict. I work with people to identify treatment goals and create a treatment regimen that fits their needs which includes psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, behavior modification, interpersonal therapy, sport psychology and coaching.

Accepting New Clients. Welcome! I have over six years of experience working with teenagers and adults. I specialize in working with clients who have gender identity issues, including transgender, those on the Autism spectrum, ADHD, sex and pornography addiction, Men's issues, family relationship problems, personality disorders, self-harming and suicidal ideation. My therapeutic approaches I use include supportive counseling, person-centered, strengths-based, CBT, DBT and trauma informed. I am a gender affirming therapist.

I am the best fit for a family who has children between the ages from birth to 24 years old. I offer support to families who are struggling with challenging behaviors from their children and adolescents in home or at school. I offer a unique systemic approach that includes parents in the treatment process that is not found in many other practices. This systemic approach is extremely affective and helps keep parents in the loop and helps families complete the treatment goal faster than other approaches. As I believe therapy for children should be brief and solution focused so they can get back to being a kid.

At Oasis Psychological services, I conduct psychological evaluations for individuals ages 8-65, psychosexual evaluations for juveniles and adults with sexual behavior problems, and assessments for juveniles with delinquency and/or substance abuse issues. I also conduct disability evaluations. Oasis Psychological Services offers therapy for a wide range of mental health problems as well as specialized services for juveniles with sexual behavior problems. We offer individual, family, and group counseling.

My ideal client is someone who is willing to try and not perfect. I feel everyone has a story to tell and I love listening to people and learning about them as well as developing a plan. I tend to pivot and figure out what each client needs not what I want to do. I am trained in most cutting edge modalities so I like to give you the chance to see and try different tools. I love doing some experiential components. I work a lot with anxiety/depression and PTSD which are often the symptoms which often unravel other things.

Chantelle received her Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She has extensive experiences working with children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health needs including various traumas, substance abuse, needs relating to the spectrum, and foster care. Chantelle also owns a behavioral health residential facility where she provides therapeutic services to adult clients suffering with addiction, trauma, and serious mental illness. Overall Chantelle has had a total of 9 years of experience as a mental health professional. She is passionate about supporting her clients as well as her community.
