Meagan is a fully licensed independent Therapist. She has dedicated her life to helping people identify and accomplish their goals, break habits and overcome trauma to achieve a peaceful, balanced life. She enjoys helping people who are committed to overcoming challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem issues, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and difficult life transitions. Meagan has special interest in working with survivors of abuse including narcissistic, intimate partner, childhood and sexual. She will assist you in developing skills to help you thrive, feel grounded, and live in accordance with your values.

I love my community and I believe that every person is a treasure, is gifted and has a purpose for their life, their family and their community. However, trauma, abuse, illness, disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship and legal issues can slow down the growth and change needed to achieve your purpose and goals. Shame, negative thoughts, and behaviors that do not promote healthy living or connection are common ways that people deal with tough life issues, however, I am willing to join you at this difficult time and with warmth and non-judgment, collaborate with you to achieve your desired goals.

Life can be extremely difficult to navigate at times, especially when going through major life transitions. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing family conflict, depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, Grief and Loss, communication challenges, self-esteem issues. I am equipped with techniques that promote both verbal and non-verbal expressions in a therapeutic manner rather than stigmatizing. As a Substance Abuse Profesionnal (SAP) evaluate employees who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulation and make recommendations education, treatment , continuing care, referrals for treatment, and follow-up testing.

I am the founder and Director of The Mandel Center of Arizona and have created an environment to promote psychotherapeutic healing to people in need. My philosophy centers on empowering clients through the therapeutic relationship. I feel that by working with patients from a non-judgmental perspective, fostering a comfortable and trusting environment and "being where the client is", the time spent in treatment is made more productive for all involved. I provide a safe environment that promotes personal growth using proven therapeutic techniques and over 25+ years of experience.

Navigating through changes and transitions can be challenging and alienating. I offer a new perspective and a helpful therapeutic partnership. I feel it is a true privilege to be part of one's healing journey. My practice is inspired by Person Centered Therapy and a diverse study of methods ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance, Commitment, and strengths-based therapy. I enjoy doing all types of therapy for all different issues to include depression, anxiety, addiction/substance use and abuse, health and wellness, grief, trauma, parental alienation, developmental challenges, autism spectrum disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, codependency, work stress and relationship conflict. I work with people to identify treatment goals and create a treatment regimen that fits their needs which includes psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, behavior modification, interpersonal therapy, sport psychology and coaching.

My therapeutic approach is adapted based on the client's needs and social systems. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families, being mindful of change occurring within the individual and family dynamic. I collaborate with schools, families, doctors, and other sources to assist in advocating for my client's needs. My level of expertise includes individual, group, and family therapy. I implement mindfulness, assertiveness training, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other methods to address substance dependence/abuse, anxiety, trauma, depression, and other emotional and behavior problem areas. I have specialized in bullying and self-esteem with adolescents.

I am a Psychologist from Austria, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, certified in Brainspotting and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and an EMDR Therapist with a vast background in Psychology and has been successfully helping clients find greater peace and success in their lives. I possess over 15 years of experience working in the field of psychology and offer bilingual therapy in English and German. I use therapy approaches that address the emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of the individual. I am specialized in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, substance abuse and addiction.
