I love working with motivated people who are ready to take a bold and compassionate look at their patterns - behavioral and emotional. I work with all ages who are dealing with fears, anxiety and stress. Michelle Counts, LPC received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and serves as a crisis response therapist for Disaster Victims Services. Michelle enjoys working with children, adolescents, individuals and couples. Her clinical background includes in-home, residential and outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She also has extensive experience in grief counseling as well as marriage and family therapy in a private practice setting.

I work with individuals who want to talk to someone in a safe, confidential, encouraging setting. I see adults, adolescents, and couples working through a wide range of issues. Specifically, I see individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive issues, pain management, or weight management. A lot of my clients are dealing with life transitions and many are needing to make major life decisions. I also work with those who have typical life stressors in work, school, or home and find it extremely helpful to use therapy as a way to maintain positive mental health.
